Rachael is an interior designer based in Chicago. 

With a love for vintage pieces and an affinity for clean lines and dimensional textures, Rachael’s signature style is a curated mix of modernity and unexpected, eclectic elements. She ensures that each project feels personal and thoughtful by mixing styles, layering textures, utilizing color and selecting art and lighting that bring the personality of her clients into the space.

Rachael has completed a multitude of design projects across the US, Canada, London & Rome. She has a background in hospitality design as Senior Interior Designer at Sonder and Senior Interior Designer at Industrious. She now has her own small firm, R.Simon Interiors, where she works on residential and commercial projects in Chicago and across the US virtually.

Rachael studied Interior Architecture & Design at UC Berkeley and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art History & English Literature from Ohio University. She loves running wild with her toddler Naomi, hosting dinner parties for friends, and traveling with her husband whenever and wherever possible.
